The curriculum used at Scribbles Learning Center is the Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers, Twos and Preschool. The Creative Curriculum is considered a leading provider of high-quality early education resources in the United States today and is approved by the State of New Jersey’s Department of Education. Our educators follow the program and plan activities to meet the needs of the children and expand their learning capabilities. Our goals and objectives are to develop their social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language skills. Our activities and teachings allow the children to explore, learn and overcome our set goals all through structured play. At our facility we also focus on cultural needs, support diversity, and emphasize a multicultural environment. We teach the children about care and respect and encourage interaction between one another, teachers, and their surroundings promoting positive interactions and relationships. We also believe in family involvement and teacher-family relationships. Opportunities are provided for parents to participate in center activities and become involved through home learning.
We practice incorporating The New Jersey Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards to support the particular needs of all young children in a high-quality preschool program.
The center also adapts the NJ Birth to Three Learning Standards to help with assisting in child growth and development for infants and toddlers under three years of age.
